Sirmione is known all over the world as the pearl of Lake Garda, for its beautiful alleys, squares and renowned spas. This year it hosts the open-air evening event “Imperial Extravagances” an immersive artistic experience that welcomes the multimedia installations of the artist Vera Uberti.
36 evenings between June and July 2022 in which to experience the Grotte di Catullo, open in an extraordinary way in the evening, in a totally new way, immersed in maxi light installations for an ultra-sensory journey through the folds of time.

Take a walk through the alleys of Sirmione to discover this unique lakeside town, sit in one of the many restaurants for a dinner based on lake specialties and only after leaving a busy working day behind you head towards the Caves of Catullo ready to immerse yourself in an experience to be lived and discovered.
You will find yourself strolling in a spectacular archaeological site, discovering from time to time the light installations of the artist Vera Uberti – with special guest David LaChapelle, letting yourself be carried away by the path conceived by the artist, by the emotions and memories that these works will bring to life again. you.
Until you reach the end of the path where you can enjoy an aphrodisiac food experience with an exclusive dessert by chef Andrea Mainardi and an accompanying cocktail, sitting among the olive trees exchanging impressions with the other participants and admiring the archaeological remains of the Grotte di Catullo.
